The Oral Vaccination Learning Program
The Oral Vaccination Learning Program (OVLP) combines the Veterinary Partner Program (VPP) for DVMs with a new element of training that will educate production personnel to be Oral Vaccination Specialists (OVS). DVMs certified through the VPP will provide training assistance to pork producers on proper storage, handling and administration of Enterisol Ileitis, Enterisol SC-54 and Ingelvac ERY-ALC. The DVM also will provide diagnostic assessments to ensure appropriate timing of vaccination.
The OVS training provides educational resources for production supervisors and key farm staff, so that they can conduct ongoing training and support within their farms.
