Simple handling for Ingelvac M.hyo

Ingelvac® M.hyo's unique adjuvant, Impran,® provides for extended stimulation of the immune system. Made of an advanced bio-lipid, this adjuvant is a food grade water in oil emulsion. Due to the oil content, however, Ingelvac® Mhyo may be warmed prior to administration to reduce viscosity. Using a warm water bath to raise the temperature of the product to 70° F reduces thickness over 350% compared to cold vaccine. Further warming to 90° F, just below body temperature, results in a total of 1100% less viscosity, and a simple administration.

Follow proper PQA technique, using a 16-gauge needle. Select a needle to deposit vaccine in the muscle — for most pigs this is 5/16" to 3/4" long. Lastly, several tube-feeding syringes offer convenient application of the 500-dose bottle of Ingelvac® M.hyo.

Step 1 — Remove appropriate number of doses from refrigerator

Step 2 — Warm to desired temperature to administer in water or on countertop.

Step 3 — Select proper length 16-gauge needle for IM vaccination

Three easy steps for simple, PQA friendly vaccination of pigs! Best protection, simple administration.
